Bronwyn Lee Clinical Psychology

Eating disorder recovery and mental health treatment

About me

I’m a Clinical Psychologist with over 10 years of clinical experience working within a trauma-informed framework across multiple public and private settings. I work with adolescents, young adults and adults from many different walks of life. My philosophy is guided by the concept that everyone is an expert in their own life, and therapy is a useful tool for making meaningful change - especially when you’re suffering from distress or finding it difficult to understand yourself.

I specialise in treating eating disorders and body image concerns, adolescent mental health, and I work closely with the LGBTQIA+ communities. I also support people struggling with:

  • Eating disorders

  • Self-esteem/ body image issues

  • Emotional regulation difficulties

  • Depression, low mood, anxiety, anxious rumination, stress, burnout

  • Relationship and interpersonal issues

  • ADHD and concentration concerns

  • Transitional life stages

My therapeutic approach is rooted in the principles of mutual respect, genuine warmth, openness, and empathy. I believe these qualities are essential for creating a safe and effective therapeutic environment, regardless of the challenges we may address.

In addition to my clinical practice, I project manage and provide clinical supervision with the InsideOut Institute for Eating Disorders at the University of Sydney (USYD). I’m also an AHPRA Board Approved Supervisor for Provisional and Registered Psychologists.
